This sculpture explores the concept of singularity — the theorized future moment when technology, particularly artificial intelligence, surpasses the organic universe’s capacity for control. At this critical threshold, it is proposed that AI may not simply evolve independently but merge with the fabric of organic life itself, including humanity.
Through the juxtaposition of a natural Yooperlite stone, imbued with sacred geometric patterning, and the precise inclusion of a crystalline semiconductor microchip wafer, the sphere embodies this envisioned convergence. It stands as a symbolic artifact of a hypothetical future where the technological and the organic dissolve into one unified existence.
